Terms of Service

By using tricities.shop (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

tricities.shop is operated by Dan Chess in Blountville, Tennessee. We provide a directory and quote-request platform connecting customers with local businesses in the Tri-Cities region.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. Business listings

Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listing information. We reserve the right to approve, reject, modify, or remove listings at our discretion. Listings must represent legitimate, operating businesses in the Tri-Cities region.

4. Reviews and content

Reviews must reflect genuine customer experiences. Fake reviews, paid reviews, and competitor disparagement are prohibited. We moderate all reviews and remove content that violates these terms.

5. Paid tiers (Featured / Premium)

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel anytime from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion for service failures.

6. Quote requests

Quote requests are forwarded to the business owner via email. We don't broker transactions and aren't a party to any agreement between you and a business. Don't include sensitive personal information (medical conditions, financial details, etc.) in quote requests.

7. Disclaimer

We do our best to vet businesses before approval, but we don't guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any business listed. You're responsible for your own due diligence before engaging any service provider. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, tricities.shop and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or on the homepage. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
